Clap #70: Ruben…”The World’s Loneliest Lion.”

#ClapForSomeone

Ruben…”The World’s Loneliest Lion.”

The private zoo in Armenia closed.
The other animals were relocated.

But Ruben wasn’t.

He was left behind in a tiny concrete cell.
For FIVE years.

But thank God for people who pour their hearts and ACTIONS into loving animals extra hard. Ruben was rescued…and is now rehabilitating at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa.

According to Jan Creamer of @AnimalDefenders: “His whole demeanor has transformed. His determination to walk is inspiring. If he stumbles or falls, he picks himself up and keeps going. He is nothing short of heroic.”

A terribly sad story…
turned incredibly hopeful and INSPIRING!

May we all #Clap for Ruben…
and those who rescued the proud Giant.
