#500: Comedy. Mystery. And the Absurd.
When I’m in Southern California…
I own box seats in an amazing arena.
I use them twice a day.
The seats are not available to see a Dodger’s or Angel’s baseball game.
Nor do I have to go all “suit and tie” dressed up to sit in them.
But every time I use them, the show is crazy entertaining.
And relaxing.
And interesting.
And even inspiring.
Great seats like these should be super expensive. But the secret is that the price is so cheap everyone in the world can afford them.
They’re free.
And I can even bring my dogs.
Somewhere near noon and 5:00 p.m. daily, we’re there…in our box seats… watching The Greatest Show on Earth.
There’s comedy.
There’s drama.
There’s mystery.
There’s romance.
There’s intrigue.
There’s absurd.
There’s even an occasional thrill.
And the cast?
Truly Hollywood’s best.
Every day there are 100 different and unique characters. The scenes change minute-by-minute, and you want to keep watching so as to not miss a single entertaining Act.
Sitting in my box seats is often a highlight to my day. I leave performances smiling…sometimes chuckling…and occasionally an extra special show even sparks a giant inspiring thought that lights up my brain.
These special reserved box seats?
They’re sitting on a sidewalk curb.
Facing a park and a walking/bike path.
It’s there that I and my two VIP celebrity Superdogs watch life move.
It’s there we watch life’s movie.
For free.
I know it’s contradictory to what a billion people think or are taught to believe: “Buying things will help you find your happy…and your happier…and your happiest.”
But that’s not what sitting in my box seats teaches me.
My seats continually prove that finding happy…in its purest form…is free.
So just maybe…
You’ll invest time in finding your version of my box seats.
And if you do…
I hope you make time to sit in them as often as possible…
and enjoy The Greatest Show on Earth.
EXTRA Thoughts…
This is the 500th blog I’ve written.
When I wrote #1, I wasn’t thinking there’d be a #2. I just started writing…and look what happened.
Step #1 always gives Step #500 a chance.
