Blog #548: Big Suitcase. Cute Dog.
She’s homeless.
But she pretty much owns the bench.
It’s there…
She sits much of the day.
With her big suitcase.
And with her cute little dog.
I’ve easily passed her 200 times.
Each time I pass, I say…
“Good morning.”
“Nice to see you.”
“Have a nice day.”
She’s never acknowledged me.
Until today.

She said…
“Nice to see you, too.”
And then she said…
“Thank you for always saying hello.”
And then we talked.
______
Don’t give up.
On dreams.
On people.
On you.
Because maybe…
Our next effort will carry the magic to change everything.
