It’s 2024.

That’s why I write about not wasting life.
We have zero to waste.

2024.

Once…

Seemingly the date for sci-fi books I read.

Today…

A real-life year we’re about to start.

The future lives…

Now.

Shall we talk New Year’s resolutions?

Let’s not.

Why?

I’m not a fan.

Setting a goal that I have to commit to for 365 days doesn’t work for me.

It’s a waste of my good energy…my good hope…and my great optimism.

BUT…

We CAN talk about something far more practical.

Mondays.

There will be 53 of them in 2024.

I CAN set a goal 53 times and succeed with a lot of them.

And the times I don’t succeed?

I always have MONDAY.

Here’s my thought.

In 2024…

I’ll make Monday resolutions…for the week.

It’s practical.

It’s inspiring.

And I can do THAT.

Why only SEVEN days at a time?

Seven-day resolutions are far less overwhelming…yet still push my purpose and passion button. 365-day resolutions get too big and too unsustainable.

SEVEN fits me just right.

If at the end of the seven I like where I’m going…

I’ll continue the resolution for seven more days.

If I don’t like where I’m going…

I’ll re-route the seven-day plan in a new direction.

I’ll start every Monday thinking…

Renew or Redo?

January 1 is almost here.

And we’re lucky.

We decide how we want our 2024 to be different.

In what we think.

In what we feel.

In what we do.

And…

Although it would take a huge miracle for our lives to completely change when the clock strikes 12:00 a.m. on January 1…our lives can begin to inch toward change because of the weekly goals we set on Monday.

53 times.

I got this.

Do you?
