Blog #665: Two Words To Change Today

Two Words To Change Today.
In Two Words To Change Today, Shawn Anderson reminds us that the smallest commitments can create the biggest transformations. Centered on the phrase “I will,” this post inspires us to take daily action toward becoming our best selves — no politics, just personal growth and responsibility.
This blog has readers from tens of countries.
BUT…
The largest percentage of readers are in the U.S.
This week was a HUGE deal in our fifty states.
______
We elected a president.
It’s definitely true…
Divisions on a multitude of issues run passionately deep in the United States.
Probably in your country, too.
But at this moment in my life…
It’s not my desire to get political in my blogs.
I am, however, sensitive to the fact that “politics” is on the minds of many.
______
My thoughts only, but…
If your side won…
I hope you choose gracious humility.
If your side lost…
I hope you find mind-calming harmony.
I will be aiming for one of those for myself.
______
“I will…”
Two words that start the most powerful sentences I know.
I will start.
I will finish.
I will continue.
I will do it.
I will create it.
I will follow through.
I will decide.
I will persist.
I will be resilient.
I will wake up.
I will be better.
I will find harmony.
I will move.
I will stretch.
I will breathe.
I will not quit.
I will keep going.
I will move forward.
Today…
“I will…”
And you?

Finding Strength in “I Will” — Two Words To Change Today.
Two Words To Change Today teaches that every new choice begins with intention. By saying “I will,” we claim ownership of our day, our attitude, and our life. Whether we choose to start, finish, create, or persist, those two words can shift us from hesitation to empowerment.
EXTRA Thoughts…
On November 1, 2024…
515 cities declared Extra Mile Day.
Here’s how it played out in one city:

Did you miss last week’s blog?
After a ridiculously challenging 11,312-foot bike climb in the Rocky Mountains, a kind couple saw me… and offered “wings” to my bike before I took off pedaling again to reach the Atlantic Ocean.
Curious?
