#480: Like Vickie T. Did

Last Thursday’s blog “Not Dead. Not Done.”…
generated an email that nudged my heart.
I’ve read it five times.
Dear Shawn,
It is thanks to you that I have not rolled over thinking I was dead.
I started walking last year. I only could walk a little ways down the road in the beginning of Spring last year. Every two weeks I set a goal to go the next road until I managed to walk the whole block. The next week my goal was twice around the block. Each week I added to my goal another stroll around until I was up to making it six times around the block. That may be little for you and others however not bad for this little old lady because a few years back I was not dead but was in a wheelchair and braces from my toes to my thighs. It was all I could do to stand.
Then I began to read your emails and huge thanks to how much of an inspiration you have been to me. Thank you so very much Shawn. You are a blessing.
The inspiring sender is Vickie T.

Brightening someone’s moment.
Sharing appreciation and adding value to someone’s day.
Positively affecting and making a difference in someone’s life.
Great goals.
The world is desperately heavy with 100 tons of negative energy. What if you and I choose to be that single ounce of positive energy that makes a difference for 100 other someones?
Like Vickie T. did for this someone.
EXTRA Thoughts…
I’ve never added a single inch of positive to my life when I’ve chosen to walk a single inch in a negative direction.
Thank you for sharing a moment with me today.
With appreciation and gratitude…
