Motivation & Inspiration Blog 708 by Shawn Anderson: 5 Ways to Get Unstuck

Feeling unmotivated? In Motivation & Inspiration Blog 708 by Shawn Anderson, Shawn shares five simple but powerful steps to break through stagnation. Each one is drawn from real experience — not theory — showing how small shifts in action, thought, and kindness can get your energy flowing again.

Feeling stuck?
Inspiration lost?
Going nowhere?

Let’s see if we can change that.

______

In writing my blogs…

I share far fewer things I’ve read or heard about.
Instead, I share things that I’ve lived and know.

If something works for me, I’m sharing it here with you.

Today…

I’ve got five.

______

1. Feel the sun.

Struggling the moment you wake up?
Get out in the early morning sun.

The sun grows flowers and plants and trees.
I believe it also has the power to grow positive attitudes.

It does with me.

______

2. Always be asking.

What do I want to live?
How do I create that?

I never stop asking myself.

______

3. Dealing with change.

As changes come into our lives in career, relationships, and age…
We might not like some of the changes that come with the changes.

In guiding what happens to me…

I’m proactive.
Never inactive.

______

4. Be kind to YOU.

I won’t always fly high enough.
I won’t always be strong enough.
I won’t always move fast enough.

Being Superman or Superwoman is not possible.
But being a super man or a super woman is.

Sometimes…

That means me just doing the best I can for where I am.

______

5. Change what you do.

My patterns create my stuckness.

If I want to shake up my blahness, I change the patterns of my day.

The time I get up.
The time I go to bed.

What I read.
What I watch.
What I listen to.

When I exercise.
What I do for exercise.

Who I talk to.
What I drink.
What I eat.

When my world feels out of order…
I throw new order into my world.

______

Gifts.

One of our greatest is the “power of choice.”
May we acknowledge ours…and use it with purpose and wisdom.

Thank you for being here today.

EXTRA Thoughts

If it’s in my heart, it’s mine.

Missed last week’s blog?

Five readers wondered about life in the midst of their struggles. Maybe what they asked you were thinking, too.

Curious?

Not What I Wanted

I am grateful you were here today.

Thank you.

Create a healthy, happy, and harmonious week… and may you encourage others to live the same.

With gratitude…
